Welcome to CCHS-Adoration

This app is how you sign up for Adoration volunteer shifts, see your schedule, and coordinate with other volunteers. This quick tour covers the basics.

Registering

Click Register in the top menu and fill out the form: your name, email, and a password. Submitting it doesn't sign you in yet — that happens once you confirm your email, below.

We'll email you a confirmation link right away — click it to prove the address is really yours. You won't be able to sign in until you do, so check your spam folder if it doesn't show up within a minute or two. Didn't get it, or did the link expire? There's a “Resend confirmation email” option right on the page you land on after registering. Clicking the link signs you in and takes you straight into the rest of setup (phone number, parish, and so on).

Reading the schedule

  • Open — no one's signed up yet. Click the cell to take it.
  • A number like 1/3 — that many volunteers are signed up out of the slot's capacity, with first names listed underneath. If there's still room, you can click to add yourself too.
  • Needs Sub (shown in red) — the person signed up can no longer make it. Click the cell to cover their shift.

The grid can be scrolled sideways to see more days, and the time column stays pinned on the left.

Managing your shifts

Go to My Shifts to see everything you're signed up for. From there you can:

  • Request a substitute if you can't make it. If the shift belongs to one of your teams, the notification goes to that team's opted-in members (and admins); otherwise it goes to every active volunteer. Either way, the first person to claim it takes it over automatically.
  • Remove yourself directly if you signed up by mistake or your plans changed — there's no notice-window requirement, though requesting a substitute is usually the better choice once the shift is close, so someone else can step in.

You can also tap your own signed-up cell right on the schedule grid for a “Time Slot Options” menu with the same choices, plus Message Others signed up for that slot (when there's anyone else on it) and View Materials — any files or links a coordinator attached to that shift (an access card, instructions, etc.), when there are any.

Your account & notifications

Go to My Settings to update your name, email, phone, parish, or Safe Environment status. You can also choose whether you'd like text messages, emails, or both for shift reminders and substitute requests, and whether your phone and email are visible to other volunteers on your teams. Checking the text box sends a one-time confirmation text to your phone — reply Y to it to actually turn texts on; this also catches a mistyped number, since texts won't start until you confirm from the real phone. For “Remind me before my shift,” pick as many lead times as you'd like (e.g. both a day before and a few hours before) — you'll get a separate reminder for each one — or add a custom number of hours. By default texts use the same schedule as email, but you can turn on a different one just for texts. Change your password any time from the same page, without needing an email link.

Not seeing our emails — including shift reminders? Check your spam or junk folder first; that's by far the most common reason one goes missing.

Forgot your password? Use “Forgot your password? Reset it by email” on the sign-in page — we'll email you a link that signs you in and lets you set a new one.

Still stuck?

Reach out to your parish's Adoration coordinator, message your team's leader from Message My Teams, or send a message to the Site Admin — anyone can use that to get help, or to send along an idea for how to make this site better. We read every one.
